How to Obtain a Library Card

If you are a town resident, you are eligible for a free library card. Please bring in identification that shows a street address and a picture ID and you will be able to check books out that day.

If you live out of town, you may purchase a non-resident card for $50.00.

If you live out of town, but work in Hopkinton or Contoocook, you are eligible for a free library card. Please bring in a pay stub or work identification to verify, along with a photo ID.

We do not charge formal overdue fines. "If your books are overdue, what you pay is up to you."

The cost for replacing a lost library card is $1.00.
